For every new wordpress user its irritating that they cant delete the Uncategorized category.
Not only for them but and for me, i mean i forgot it once and wasnt able to delete it until i googled.
Easy steps:
1. Go to new post, there you will se add new category, and add one.
2. Go to Settings -> Writing
3. Scroll down until you find: default category, and choose the new category you created.
4. Save it.
5. Go to Posts -> Categories and delete the uncategorized category
Simple solutions.. Works...
